Dear DLMS Families,

Summer is officially in full swing, and we sincerely hope this message finds our students relaxing, recharging, and enjoying every moment of this wonderful season! After a busy school year, it's so important to take time to unwind and create lasting memories.

As you enjoy your summer, we encourage all students to continue engaging their minds and bodies. Remember to carve out time for reading!  Don't forget, there is a summer reading assignment for each grade level that needs to be completed before the new school year begins. These assignments are designed to keep you connected to learning and ready for the exciting challenges ahead!

We also hope you're spending plenty of time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying all the beauty our community has to offer. And, of course, make sure to cherish those precious moments with family and friends.

We are thrilled to announce that DLMS will be hosting Open Building Tours on August 12th and August 14th. These tours are open to all students, new and returning, and provide a fantastic opportunity to explore the building, find your classrooms, and get comfortable with your surroundings before the first day. More details on specific times will be shared soon.

You can also expect to receive student schedules and supply lists in early August, giving you plenty of time to prepare for a successful start.

Mark your calendars! The first day of school for all DLMS students is August 21st. We can't wait to welcome everyone back and embark on another incredible year of learning, growth, and discovery together.
