Deer Lakes 8th grader Catalina Bogan created a new tradition at Deer Lakes Middle School for Autism Acceptance Month.

Students had a chance to buy Autism Acceptance bracelets to support the Middle School Best Buddies Program.

In addition, students were encouraged to wear as much blue as possible and walk around the football field for DLMS' First Ever Autism Acceptance Walk. Prizes were awarded for students with the most blue on! #DLProud #EmpoweredCitizenship
